my experiences & observations while studying in paris
I went back to Gallery Anatome today for their French Books exhibition. I walked from home to La place de la Bastille then to the gallery (nice far walk 13th-11th district) Usually the area in the photo above is swamped with circular traffic but instead there were people with huge posters, picket signs and bbq. Still not sure what was going on. Click thumbnails below for large versions.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s gone up more since this post. lol The EURO has been high since the beginning of March. Aparently Paris is attracting fewer American tourists because of the rise. I’m definitely feeling it :)
I’ve been enjoying mailing friends and family things lately, especially letters. I think its important to connect via the mail box outside rather than email. Today I told myself, “Samantha, today is the last day you will eat another viennoise au chocolat!” these incredible yummy tasting baguettes with chocolate chips. I also told myself that last week clearly it didn’t work. Till next time.
